Cassidy disappointed with latest F3 result in Japan

A disappointing weekend racing at the latest round of the Japanese F3 Series has seen Kiwi driver Nick Cassidy drop down to second in the overall standings.

“It was an average weekend,” commented Cassidy.  “I was pushed wide at the start of Race 1 and finished fifth.  In the second race I finished 4th with overheating brakes from the opening lap so it was tough just getting to the end.  It was a disappointing weekend but we know we are always fighting for a win with no problems.”

With six races left in the Series, Cassidy is just four points behind Petrona Team TOM’s team mate Kenta Yamashita after the round at the Okayama Circuit in Japan.  The series heads to the next round at the Fuji Speedway in three weeks time (18-19 July).
