News announced overnight that Kiwi FIA Formula 2 driver Liam Lawson will take part in the Young Driver Formula One test in Abu Dhabi in December 2021.
Scuderia AlphaTauri boss Franz Tost confirmed the news as well as Lawson will be driving with them in the Friday Practice (FP) sessions during the 2022 F1 Grand Prix season.
Lawson drove Sebastian Vettel’s 2011 F1 championship winning Red Bull RB7 F1 car for demonstration runs at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK in July this year.
