Coulthard to debut new chassis at Hidden Valley Raceway

Kiwi driver Fabian Coulthard is confident heading to the Skycity Triple Crown round of the Australian V8 Supercars Series this weekend at the Hidden Valley Raceway.  Freightliner Racing will debut their fifth COTF chassis this weekend after retiring their most successful chassis known as ‘Tallulah’.

The new car, known as ‘Alice the Snow Leopard’ underwent a shakedown at Winton recently in preparation for the three races this weekend.

Coulthard will look to continue his form having scored 11 top ten finishes from 12 starts in 2015.

Hidden Valley Raceway is located five kilometres from Darwin Airport and 10km from the city’s central business district. The Raceway supports a state-of-the-art 2.87 kms circuit which features a 1.1km main straight and a challenging back section of curves and hairpin bends.

Saturday sees two qualifying sessions for race 13 and race 14 of the series, both over 21 laps.  Drivers will take part in a 20 minute qualifying session on Sunday for the 70 lap feature race 15.

The SKYCITY Triple Crown still remains unclaimed in Hidden Valley V8 Supercar History. No driver has clean swept all three race wins in a weekend in Darwin.
